Background

Enterokinase
(EK) is an amino protease existing in duodenum of mammal and is involved in
digestion. It consists of a disulfidelinked 82–140kDa heavy chain
which anchors enterokinase in the intestinal brush border membrane and a 35–62kDa light chain which contains the catalytic subunit.
Additionally, both of the chains are derived from a single precursor that is
cleaved by a trypsin-like protease. EK can specially recognize the amino acid
sequence DDDDK, and digest the peptide bond after the lysine residue. rEK was
report to be more effective than nature EK in cleaving recombinant proteins.
Furthermore, the light chain possesses the whole enzyme activity of EK. rBoEK
has the highest activity than EK of other species and is used wildly in
biochemical applications.

保存條件:
-20℃或更低溫度保存，至少一年有效。由于蛋白的每次凍融均會(huì)引起部分失活，所以**配制成相應(yīng)濃度的儲(chǔ)存液后(請(qǐng)根據(jù)產(chǎn)品簡(jiǎn)介中Reconstitution一欄的信息配制儲(chǔ)存液)，須分裝后-20℃或更低溫度凍存，以避免反復(fù)凍融。
